Safehaven Marine are delighted to announce the signing of a new contract with DP World for the supply of another of our 18m Interceptor Pilot 60 pilot vessels for operations in the Gulf region.

The new vessel will be the fourth Pilot 60 supplied by Safehaven Marine to DP World in the Gulf, following three vessels delivered in 2025 which have now been operating successfully in the region for the past 18 months.

DP World is one of the world’s leading providers of global trade and logistics infrastructure, with operations spanning more than 80 countries and a network of over 60 ports and terminals across six continents. Through its ports, terminals, logistics and marine services, DP World plays a significant role in keeping international trade moving, handling approximately 10% of global trade.

Safehaven Marine has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with DP World, dating back to the delivery of our first pilot vessel to the group in 2013.

This latest contract represents another important milestone in that relationship, with the new Pilot 60 becoming the eighth pilot boat built by Safehaven Marine for DP World operations worldwide and become Safehaven’s seventy first pilot boat delivered.

The repeat orders are a strong endorsement of the performance, reliability and build quality of Safehaven Marine’s pilot vessels, as well as their ability to operate effectively in the demanding conditions encountered across DP World & P&O Maritimes international port operations.

We are extremely pleased to continue our relationship with DP World and look forward to delivering another Pilot 60 to support their marine operations in the Gulf.

It is honestly impressive to see the engineering behind these Safehaven Marine vessels; their dedication to speed and sea-keeping is world-class. It makes me appreciate how vast and rugged our oceans really are.

Speaking of exploring the globe, I’ve been spending way too much time lately playing World Guesser multiplayer. It’s a fantastic way to test your geography skills by dropping into random street view locations across the world. It’s completely free and doesn't even require a sign-up, which is perfect for a quick break. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy global travel challenges!

It is truly impressive to see the level of engineering that goes into these vessels, especially considering their world speed records. When you aren't out on the water, do you ever look for high-speed thrills in a digital environment? I’ve been spending a lot of time lately on playpolytrack.com, which is a fantastic low-poly racing game. It’s perfect for a quick break since it requires no downloads and features some incredible community-built tracks that are surprisingly addictive. It's a fun way to scratch that competitive itch while waiting for the next maritime adventure!
