Safehaven Marine have launched ‘Miami’, an Interceptor 48 pilot for the Biscayne Bay Pilots for their pilotage operations at the busy Port of Miami in Florida, USA.
Miami is powered by Scania DI 13 500hp engines providing her with an economical operational speed of 25kts. Capable of transporting 7 pilots and crew on Grammer shock mitigation seats, in her comfortable air-conditioned cabin, featuring a special arrangement with the 30,000btu air handlers mounted high up in a new roof moulding, allowing the most efficient cooling for Florida’s hot climate.
