Safehaven Marine are designers and builders of FRP Pilot boats, Patrol boats, Crew transfer vessels, Hydrographic survey catamarans, Naval & Military craft and unique custom Private Motor Yachts. All our vessels are built to the highest standards of strength & engineering and are renowned world wide for their exceptional sea-keeping abilities. Established in 1996 we have built over 170 vessels supplied to 30 countries worldwide, and with over 70 pilot vessels in operation globally have become leaders in this market.

Based in Youghal, Co Cork Ireland, Safehaven manufacture our vessels from two modern factories, with all design work carried out in house and built with our own experienced team of designers, engineers, carpenters, electricians, shipwrights and laminators.

Always at the forefront of new technology and designs we continuously develop our range and push the frontiers of design: Safehaven have set multiple UIM World Records including a 862nm North Atlantic crossing World record with our unique (Hull patented) 22m high speed vessel XSV20, and for 2024 developed an exciting new 20m Motor Yacht, a high speed Explorer catamaran the T-2000 Voyager.

SAFEHAVEN MARINE LAUNCH THE INTERCEPTOR 60 PILOT ‘EDERRA 8’ FOR THE MVD PILOTS ASSOCIATION, MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY.

Safehaven Marine have launched ‘Ederra 8’, she’s an 18m Interceptor 60 pilot, built for the MVD Pilots Association in Montevideo, Uruguay. This is the third pilot boat we’ve built for their pilots, following ‘Ederra 6 and 7’, both Interceptor 48’s we delivered in 2022, which have worked very well for the pilots over the last several years. Overall she will be the 4th pilot boat we supplied to Montevideo including ‘Belgrano’ in 2020. ‘Ederra 8’ is also the fastest pilot boat w
