INTERCEPTOT 46 / 14m PILOT / PATROL.

The Interceptor 46 uses a lengthened version of the standard Interceptor 42 / 13m hull, lengthened to 46ft / 14m. Into the design, as shown here, can be incorporated an aft cockpit. Heavily scuppered, with a transom gate providing acess to the waterline, and incorporating a dive platfrorm combined in this example with an electric dive lift. This increases the crafts role to multi purpose, in that it is capable of carring out S.A.R. duties, dive and recovery and handling / light cargo duties.The longer waterline provides much the same powering requirments due to increased waterplane area and improves the already exceptional seakeeping in somuch as the longer waterline better bridges waves in head seas.
