I will be dedicating this page to recording the 'Gleann Mor', her crew & pilots in service during extreame wind and sea conditions.

Some nice action shots of a boarding in heavy seas at the enbtrance to Cork Harbour, the Dublin pilot boat was out sea trialing at the time.

On the 30th of November a violent storm of force 10 with 100mph wind speeds and seas of up to 10m in height (decribed by the coast guard weather service in the very rarly used phrase  'swells of mountanous proportions'  Skippered by Ronnie Randall, the Gleann Mor  undertook a pilot transfer  and we captured a video which can be seen on our video page at this link- http://safehavenmarine.phanfare.com/album/64767

We captured some pictures, allthough due to the conditions, visibility was poor as there was very heavy rain at the time,  therefore the quality of the pics  is not great.

Searching for lost channel marker buoy during a severe storm on the 27th November 2006.

During demonstrations of her seakeeping abilities to Harbour Authoritys we captured some excellent footage in storm force 9 conditions.
